In Book Two there's an explosion of characters and it's fantastic. Hybrids, militias, scientists. Lemire said he didn't expect to become so attached to these secondary characters like Doctor Singh or Wendy but I'm glad he did, because they are very real and special characters, and it's great for world-building. All in all this was awesome.
